Windows Phone 7 to Gain Angry Birds?

Currently the most popular mobile game in the mobile space has to be Rovio’s Angry Birds multi platform game currently available on Android, iOS and Symbian, but may soon be making its way to another platform.

According to an article over on Intomobile by Kelly Hodgkins, Rovia has used their Twitter account to tweet they will give an update on their plans for WP7 on Angry Birds Day, which is apparently a fan-proclaimed event slated for the 11th of December.

If you remember, Microsoft actually advertised Angry Birds on its Windows Phone site some time ago without permission from Rovio which was quickly removed and Rovio confirmed that they currently had no plans to bring Angry Birds to the Windows Phone 7 platform.

So does this sudden tweet from Rovio now suggest that perhaps that situation has now changed and the Angry Birds will be headed for the WP7 platform sometime in the future? Who knows, but it looks like we will find out on December the 11th.
