Windows Phone Developer Summit 2012 between WWDC & Google I/O

It would appear that the month of June and San Francisco has quite a bit of attraction for the mobile space, as June is set to be one busy month for conventions. We know that the Apple gathering, WWDC 2012 kicks off from the 11th to the 15th of June in San Francisco, and that Google I/O 2012 follows shortly after on the 27 to the 29 June in San Francisco, and now Microsoft has added their gathering to the month of June and in San Francisco.

According to the guys over on both Engadget and The Verge, old Microsoft has announced that the Windows Phone Developer Summit 2012 will be held just after WWDC 2012 and just before Google I/O 2012 placing the Windows Phone shindig in-between the two.

Apparently Microsoft has scheduled the Windows Phone Developer Summit 2012 for the 20th and 21st of June in San Francisco, although apparently details on the summit are somewhat scant, but the invited do tease with the prospect of learning platform capabilities and developer opportunities with Windows Phone.

It is still somewhat of a mystery as to just whether the Windows Phone Developer Summit 2012 will cover Windows Phone Apollo or if it will simply be all about Windows Phone 7.5 Tango, but there is also word that there might be some general news about the platform at the event as well, but other than that not much else is known at this point.

So it’s safe to say that during the month of June it will be quite a busy time for San Francisco and of course all the tech blogs who will be covering each event, including us here at Phones Review.
