It appears as if ZTE has a new handset bound for the states. The ZTE Blade A910 has just shown up at the FCC, which means a U.S. launch is coming in the very near future.

ZTE has released a lot of smartphones this year, and they have plenty of unannounced handsets still to come. That said, many of those devices will remain in the East, while a half-dozen or so go on to global launches or hit particular regions. The ZTE Blade A910 first made its debut back in April alongside the ZTE Blade V7 Max. According to a new FCC filing, the A910 is coming to the U.S., and it’s one to watch if you need an affordable, but solid smartphone.

If you missed our previous coverage of the ZTE Blade A910, it’s a handset in the phablet class with a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,280 x 720. The chip powering the show is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6735, which is followed by either 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A handy microSD card slot is present on both handsets.

On the rear of the ZTE Blade A910, you will find a solid 13MP sensor, while the front-facing snapper is better than average at 8MP. As a bonus, both have LED flashes, something you don’t find on too many handsets. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, a fingerprint scanner, and 4G LTE. The battery is listed at 2,540mAh and it was released running Android 5.1, but hopefully that will be remedied and the U.S. release will arrive with 6.0.

At this time, we have no idea of when the ZTE Blade A910 will launch in the U.S., but it’s coming and should be affordable. The expected price for the 2GB/16GB edition should be around $200 while the 3GB model may roll in at around $235.
