Apple iPhone can now record video

The Apple iPhone has continuously been criticised for lack of video capabilities, but now thanks to a 3rd party solution video for the iPhone could be coming quite soon. A man from Monster and friends has posted a working beta of an application which can create videos with the iPhone’s camera, and it can apparently capture video at 2 megapixels.

Currently the frame rate is only 10 frames per second, but it’s early days and goes to show it can be done; the guy has promised even video of 40/45 frames per second could be available on next versions. Somewhat of a audacious promise that as yet has to be proved and fulfilled, at the moment the application allows an iPhone to record 5 seconds of video with the ability to replay straight after.
