Vista’s SideShow functionality isn’t quite doing the biz at the mo, but maybe this isn’t through any lack of interest. SideShow’s functionality is fine but getting enough manufacturers to support the concept is proving to be a tad slow.

Microsoft have two things they could do to get more interest, for one they would have to add Windows Mobile, and iPhone support. Official Windows Mobile support has been rumoured, but while you wait you can help yourself to Go Gadgets beta from Ikanos Consulting which supports SideShow over a vast ranged of mobile connectivity.

There’s fella’s have been working overtime at working on a general HTML render for gadgets, and have specialized it to look great on mobile Safari.
