Apple get sued over iPhone caller ID: Figa Patent, who will he sue next?

Oops it seems Romek Figa from Massachusetts has sued Apple in a patent lawsuit, normally Apple is the ones suing and now the tables have been turned.

Romek Figa has claimed that he patented a caller ID system infringed by the iPhone and that Figa’s patent was granted in 1990 and references two-line LCD screens and external caller ID equipment.

This basically means a cool way to associate incoming numbers with stored contact names, now the man is looking for ways to stop the sale of the Apple iPhone and have Apple put up some huge damages and license his patent.

Hey Romek Figa how come you have not sued Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG or even Sony Ericsson because they all have caller ID as well? Is it because Apple is successful.

All we know is if Romek Figa’s lawyers do their job right then he could be one lucky man that’s all we can say.
