RIM Blackberry Versus Asus Eee PC and other UMPCs: What do we really need?

We here have always wanted to know “Do we really need UMPCs? The reason we ask this is because at the moment the Asus Eee PC is the best one around and obviously with many smartphones doing such a good job as well for business which can basically do just as much as an ultra mobile PC, the most popular smartphone in the way of RIM Blackberry is the BlackBerry Bold 9000.

The Asus Eee Pc and the BlackBerry Bold 9000 are just two examples of many, but let’s stick with these two as an example, if you take a look at the specs below on both devices you will clearly see the difference between the two and I know what one I would choose. Ok yes you are right you can type quicker on the Asus Eee PC but what else can it do in the way of basic business. You can check emails on both, you can go on the internet with both, you can listen to music on both, you can store pictures on both, and need I go on. Instead of me bantering on and on like a boring recluse deciding on what is best we will let you answer this for us.

So please answer this question “RIM Blackberry Versus Asus Eee PC and other UMPCs: What do we really need? I personally think small is better and I opt for the Blackberry.
