Apple iPhone Programmer course to be run by Stanford?

Besides all the trouble we all know the Apple iPhone is extremely popular and well is doesn’t surprise when an established institution tries to affiliate themselves with a name such as Apple.

The word is from Tuaw that Stanford will be running a course this autumn with the title “iPhone Application Programming.”

The whisper is that this course is to be taught by the same Apple employees that taught a Cocoa Programming course on campus.

Which I guess means if you want to become an Apple iPhone programmer, this is the course to take. Which obviously means that sometime in the future all you iPhoner’s can look forward to a deluge of iPhone apps hitting the Apple App Store.

Not that there aren’t enough apps out there for the iPhone already, but then again there’s always room for improvement so they say.
