China’s largest mobile phone operator China Mobile has reached the final stages of talks with Apple to bring the Apple iPhone 3G officially to China, which just happens to be the world’s largest mobile phone market.

The 21 Century Business Herald reported that China Mobile and Apple are likely to conclude talks over the Apple iPhone 3G soon.

Apple officials were as usual not available to comment and a spokesman with China Mobile declined to speak on the report.

Back in June, China Mobile confirmed that the main obstacle in the talks that was keeping the Apple iPhone 3G out of China’s 608.4 million mobile phone user market had been sorted.
