Motorola poor show of new mobile phones at CES

Motorola (NYSE:MOT) didn’t have much to offer at the Consumer Electronics Show, only unveiling a small range of mobile phones, as the phone manufacturer struggles to keep up with its competitors.

However the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has never been a big one for Motorola, generally the manufacturer saves itself for bigger shows like the GSMA Mobile World Congress and the CTIA. But Motorola have cut several phones in development and the CES is a sure sign that they have already done so.

There was a mix bag of phones this year, but not really based on any relevant jump in technology but more based on gimmick, one phone promises to be more green, others similar to Nextel walkie-talkie mobile phones. However Motorola did unveil several wireless devices.
