Nintendo demand Duck Hunt for iPhone removed for copyright infringement

Apparently the Duck Hunt application for the Apple iPhone has been removed from the Apple iTunes App Store as the request of Nintendo. Word has it Nintendo required Duck Hunt for the Apple iPhone which was developed by Lucas Mansfield, due to alleged copyright infringement.

Mansfield has said he will rework and update the iPhone game to remove any possible offending graphics that may be construed at copyright infringement but hopefully stay as close to the original as he can.

The application which cost 99 cents had the look, feel and sounds exactly of the original NES game and this is what Nintendo wasn’t too happy with.
