Samsung Lucido official for the UK in April

Roughly a month ago whispers hit the net wave about a slim-line candy-bar known as the Samsung Eliz S7220 and it was expected to be announced during MWC 2009, but it didn’t materialise.

That is until now, as Samsung has officially announce the Samsung Elitz S7200 in the United Kingdom, but under a new handle, as it will now be known as the Samsung Lucido, which is Italian for “Sleek.”

Spec wise the Samsung Lucido offers quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 900/1200, and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, a 2.2 inch QVGA AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, FM radio, aGPS, accelerometer, Bluetooth and microSD slot. The Samsung Lucido should be available sometime in April.
