CTIA 2009: Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile gets closer look

More from the guys over at cnet on their visit to CTIA 2009 in Las Vegas; the guys sat down with Microsoft to grab a closer view of Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and a look at a complete overhaul of Internet Explorer Mobile.

Apparently Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile will has a clear design and larger icons so the user can use their finger rather than a stylus with fading round icons on the bottom of the screen.

Microsoft promises performance to offer swifter rendering speeds and better follow through on more complex Internet tasks, and with the next IE build will focus on increasing its success rate on completely complicated tasks. IE will start shipping on Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones sometime later this year.
