BlackBerry Storm 2 in the planning confirms RIM

According to a report by Reuters, Research In Motion has plans to deliver a BlackBerry Storm 2. Confirmation of the BlackBerry Storm 2 came via RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie.

Apparently RIM sees a largely untapped market for the BlackBerry Storm 2, and Balsillie said that the original BlackBerry Storm was a huge success in terms of sales and adoption.

However Research In Motion’s first touch screen Storm didn’t garner too good a reaction from users and reviewers alike, but apparently the new BlackBerry Storm 2 will have a new input method, which Balsillie wouldn’t comment further on.

So basically there will be a BlackBerry Storm 2 at some stage by just what differences it will have is being kept under wraps for the moment.
