Palm is upping there marketing standards and have now joined up with an online comic series which pays tribute to “The Prisoner” mini-series by AMC.

This new comic featuring the Palm Pre smartphone is based on the original British cult TV series “The Prisoner” starring Patrick McGoohan as a secret agent who is held prisoner in a seaside village and his capturers has to find out why he resigned from his job.

Palm Pre have sponsored the comic and that is why they have included an image of the Palm Pre at the end of the 1st edition of the comic, it’s to be expected. In the photo above the Palm Pre plays a big part. A PDF version is available for download and this is mentioned in the comic.

The comic subtly plugs the Palm Pre smartphone as the phone to have when reading online comics, however you can still download the PDF file using your non-webOS phone.
