Nokia Surge gets first impression breakdown

The new Nokia Surge has now been given a first impressions review by brighthand, and they say a full blown review will follow soon. Their first impressions were they weren’t too sure about the Nokia Surge but after a couple of days with the handset it has grown on them.

Software wise, the Nokia Surge carries the same software that is so familiar with Nokia Symbian S60 devices, but it gives the impression the handset doesn’t do a great deal, but in fact does, such as easily dialling a contact by sliding out the Nokia Surge keyboard.

The Nokia Surge is $80 on contract and is packed with software such as Nokia Music player, a webkit based Nokia web browser with Flash Lite 3, and of course several AT&T software offerings, making the Nokia Surge a fairly full handset with more software that its target audience will use.
