New Fourth-gen iPhone Rumour: Apple using Pegatron Technology to manufacture

More news on the Apple iPhone 4G next generation phone or iPhone 2010. Apparently Apple are about to sign up a second manufacturer in order to make the fourth generation iPhone.

Rumour has it that Pegatron Technology a subsidiary of ASUS will join Foxconn, who are already an established Apple partner already manufacturing the Apple iPhone 3GS.

Pegatron so far have declined to comment on the subject, however they have said that their phone shipments will or should grow significantly during 2010.

Rumours over the past few months have linked Pegatron to a “world phone” model of the Apple iPhone, which it is believed would use both CDMA ands also GSM networks. The lack of CDMA has stopped the iPhone from working with some carriers including Verizon and also Sprint. Source – macnn.com
