Video: Gaming on Windows Phone 7, Windows PC and Xbox 360

During TechEd Middle East in Dubai, Microsoft’s Eric Rudder demonstrated playing the same game on a Windows Phone 7 handset, Windows computer and an Xbox 360. The game was made in Virtual Studio as a singular project with 90% shared code.

Apparently the game was a simple Indiana Jones type platformer which enables the gamer to save their place and pick up that same place when switching to whatever platform.

Of course we have the video demonstration for your viewing pleasure which can be viewed below courtesy of the guys over at engadget, and last almost four and a quarter minutes of Windows magic.

So basically the game is playable on all three platforms and you can save and restart the game whilst moving from device to device, so sort of begin on your computer, more to another room and resume on your Xbox, and nip out and resume on your Windows Phone 7 phone, kinda neat.
