GDC 2010 two day iPhone summit, new games

The Game developers Conference 2010 will begin in San Francisco shortly, and this years GDC will also include a 2-day iPhone summit which will undoubtedly attract many iPhone developers from across the globe.

According to an article over on touch arcade the creator of Eliss, Steph Thirion will introduce their new game called Faraway which will be one of six “one button games” highlighted at Gamma 4 on Wednesday. Furthermore IGF mobile finalists will be demoed with a final award ceremony later in the week.

The guys are attending and co-sponsoring the IUGO iPhone Developer Party on Wednesday the 10th of March in the Marriott Lobby Bar at 8pm which is directly across from the Moscone Centre West, and they expect a large influx of iPhone developers to attend.

They also expect an “avalanche” of iPhone news to be coming through this week, so I guess that would mean news on new games for the iPhone that iPhone devs are currently working on; so maybe will see several new iPhone games hit sometime in the near future.
