This service has been out a while now that allows you to sync your mobile contact list with an online address book; it is totally free if you are a Verizon customer and $1.99 per month if you are not. It is very secure and will be a saviour if you break or lose your handset.

You can schedule daily backups to be up-to-date and even use its facilities to print, add, view, delete and edit contacts, just so you know the monthly fee will be waived if you remain a Verizon Wireless customer.
