Nokia C3 Touch and Type Gets Priced for India

The Nokia C3 Touch and Type, Nokia’s smartphone that delivers both a touch screen and a 12 button keypad is making it’s a way out into emerging markets, and it appears that the Nokia C3 Touch and Type price tag for India has been revealed.

According to an article over on NokNok by Phil B and by way of ICTechnews, the Nokia C3 Touch and Type handset sits near the bottom of Nokia’s smartphone range but does offer a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi and Bluetooth support.

The Nokia C3 Touch and Type is fairly similar to the Nokia X3 Touch and Type although also resembles the Nokia 6300 or Nokia 6700 classic in design, and will apparently be available in India by mid-October and will command a price tag of about Rs. 9000.

The Nokia C3 Touch and Type runs the Symbian Series 40 operating system, and comes with Nokia Messaging 3.0, Nokia email, social networking via Facebook and Twitter, and has a stainless steel design but lacks GPS.

    Nine Thousand……. that's too high priced…….. I expected Nokia to do some aggresive pricing…….9000 for a GPS less phone is not going to succeed here….. no chance

    The nearest competitior would be Corby – touch and qwerty with GPS………
