For those who keep up with the world of jailbreaking Apple’s darling devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and the Apple iPad, there’s a rumour doing the rounds that the next jailbreak solution from jailbreak guru Geohot will be called RubyRa1n.

According to an article over on Ubergizo by way of Redmond Pie, George Hotz, also known as Geohot of course, back on March the 27th registered the domain name www.Rybyra1n.com, leading to the presumption that the next outing of Geohot’s jailbreak will be known as Rubyra1n.

Naturally Rubyra1n does indeed sound plausible as the famous iPhone hacker seems to have stuck with his options for naming his jailbreaks ending in ra1n such as blackra1n and limera1n.

However apparently the name Rubyra1n hasn’t been confirmed by the man himself, but odds are on Rubyra1n will be the next iOS jailbreak unless Geohot decides to go with some other fancy name of course.
