Motorola CLIQ 2 Officially Announced at CES 2011

During CES 2011 in Las Vegas Motorola in conjunction with T-Mobile USA have officially announced the Motorola CLIQ 2 3G smartphone with MOTOBlur and will run on the T-Mobile 4G network.

The senior vice president, portfolio and device product management, Motorola Mobility, Inc, Alain Mutricy, has said… “With business-ready features and robust entertainment options, CLIQ 2 users will be able to make the most of every moment.”

The Motorola CLIQ 2 smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, Adobe Flash Player, Blockbuster Ondemand app preinstalled for movie viewing, a 3.7 inch touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual LED flash, and DNLA enabled.

The vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA, Paul Cole, has said… “We are excited to build upon the success of the original CLIQ, bringing the powerful combination of Android and social connectivity to our customers. With the addition of new business-ready features, the Motorola CLIQ 2 offers peace of mind with the ability to balance home and work life.”

The Motorola CLIQ 2 also offers business functionality with importing LinkedIn connectivity to the contacts list, work remotely via Quickoffice, and the ability to connect to a laptop via WiFi sharing or 3G mobile hotpsot. The device also supports social networking services such as Facebook and Twitter.

The Motorola CLIQ 2 will be available in titanium hue with a smoke grey finish exclusively from T-Mobile as of the 19th of January although currently T-Mobile isn’t showing any price for the smartphone.
