Apple iPad 2 To Be Offered By Target And iPad Trade In Deal

For those iOS faithful that prefer to purchase their iOS device from somewhere such as Target you might like to know that Target will indeed be offering the Apple iPad 2 on release day, the 11th of this month.

According to an article over on 9to5 Mac, Target used their official Twitter account to announce ” The #iPad2 is coming to @Target stores! Get yours on launch day – 3/11/11.”

Furthermore, according to an article over on PC World, Target is promoting their trade-in program that is available at over 800 Target stores, enabling customers to trade in their original Apple iPad to receive a credit as of the 13th of the month.

Kristy Walker, spokeswoman for Target said, “We anticipate our guests being really excited to get the latest technology.”

Although just how much credit Target will offer for the Apple iPad when customers trade in for the Apple iPad 2 hasn’t been announced, so if any of our reader’s take advantage of the trade in feel free to let us know.

    Just spoke to my local Target store [central Pennsylvania] and for the 32 Gig 1st Gen iPad in perfect condition they would likely give me a credit of $195 vs PowerMax for over $300.
