The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has been delayed until June now due to software testing, if you visit the coming soon O2 UK page you will see the delay message and their extensive testing procedures. O2 has confirmed the new June delay.
The testing team are right now extensively testing the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY because they want to give customers a great product and great experience when using the gaming phone and this is why the release date will now be June. All of the bugs that occurred have been identified in their testing and many have been fixed and other being worked on.
They are highly confident that they will all be fixed fairly soon, O2 is working very close to Sony Ericsson through this month of May to bring customers a great device.
