Now here’s a rather unusual marketing video for the LG Optimus Black smartphone and brings us the smartphone championship race where the LG Optimus Black goes us against some rather curiously names rival handsets, and of course you can probable guess who will cross the finish line first.

Naturally the LG Optimus Black retains its name but other rivals get subtle name changes such as Waffle’s Ivan, could this possibly be an iPhone, or how about Samsung’s Gary S Jr, perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S, or how about the Sonic’s Archie, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc perhaps?

Have to say it’s a neat Formula 1 take on pitting smartphone against smartphone, but in the end we all know before it starts that it’s the LG Optimus Black that will be the victor, fun though…enjoy.
