Xperia Play Price Tumbles In UK

If you are in the United Kingdom and have been shying away from the first PlayStation certified smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play due to the price for the Android being quite hefty, you may just like to know that you can now pick up the Xperia Play for a bit cheaper.

According to an article over on Unwired View by way of Eurodroid, the nice guys at Play.com have now slashed the price of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play down to £399.99 and of course with free delivery.

Naturally if you purchase the Android 2.3 Gingerbread gaming device from Play.com you will get the handset unlocked, SIM free and in black, and is usually dispatched within 24 hours.

For a little cheaper price you could opt to grab the Xperia Play from Clove, who are offering the smartphone in both black and silver for and even lower 390 quid including VAT but without delivery, so it might come out roughly the same.

Personally I think nearly 400 quid is quite expensive for any smartphone, but then that’s just my personal view and no doubt many would willingly hand over such a price for the device they want.
