Status Facebook Phone, Crossover Comparison Battle Videos

If you happen to be one of the Android faithful that prefers a physical keyboard on their smartphone and you’re with the AT&T network there are a couple of new devices that offer said function, the HTC Status Facebook phone and the Pantech Crossover, but which of the two is the better device? Well to help you make up your mind we have a video comparison battle for your viewing pleasure below.

The HTC Status versus the Pantech Crossover comparison fight footage come in the form of a two-part video confrontation courtesy of Sydney Myers over at Phone Dog and jointly delivers twenty-three minutes of smartphone confrontation.

So let’s kick off with a spec reminder for both devices, the HTC Status offers a 2.6-inch capacitive touch screen, portrait QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, 1.3 megapixel VGA front facing camera, a Qualcomm 800 MHz single core processor, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm jack, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HTC Sense UI and of course a dedicate Facebook button.

Whereas the Pantech Crossover offers a 3-inch touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, Qualcomm 600 Mhz single core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.

According to Sydney, both the HTC Status and Pantech Crossover are decent mid-range Android devices on AT&T and both sport excellent physical keyboards although the Pantech Crossover does offer that larger display and keyboard option, but then the HTC Status does have that dedicated Facebook button in its favour.
