iPhone 5 Release Date Sept 12th Now Speculated

Ah the iPhone 5 and its release date, a much sought after piece of news that has had the release of the next generation iPhone pegged as sometime in August, September, October and even beyond, and the latest piece of release date speculation now pegs the iOS smartphone as possibly coming on the 12th of September.

Why? Well according to an article over on Phone Arena, the guys over at Engadget are reporting that a tipster is saying Telefonica will be cutting back on their iPhone stock as of the 22nd of this month through until September the 12th, of course this could mean something completely different to the launch of the iPhone 5.

Apparently this is usually done when the launch of a new smartphone is expected, thus it is now speculated that the iPhone 5 will come out to play as of the 12th of next month, although of course nothing has been confirmed and it could be completely wrong.

Having said that, the word is Apple will unveil the next iOS smartphone during their fall event, which according to rumour will be on or about The 7th of September, and that a launch could follow shortly after, so it is possible that September 12th could turn out to be correct.

Of course Apple isn’t going to come right out and confirm anything either way, so this again stays firmly in the land of speculation for now.

Personally I’d say its all guesswork when it comes to anything Apple and probably the best idea is not to get your hopes up if you are awaiting the release of the iPhone 5 until such times as it comes straight from the horses mouth.

Of course that won’t stop the wild speculation surrounding the much-wanted smartphone, and to be honest once the iPhone 5 does finally come out to play, then all the speculation will turn towards the iPhone 6 and what Apple will offer with that device, so really its never-ending.
