Android Honeycomb Springboard tablet hands on video

As we have just posted, T-Mobile will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet quite soon, but that slate isn’t the only Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet T-Mobile will be making available this month, as the T-Mobile Springboard tablet is set to release on the same day and for those that are pondering on whether to opt for the Springboard we have a little hands on footage for your viewing pleasure below.

The T-Mobile Springboard tablet hands-on footage comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Slash Gear who have also done an in-depth written review of the Android slate which can be read by hitting up their website, however if you don’t have time for that you can simply check out the video below.

The T-Mobile Springboard is set to release on the 16th of November, the same day as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus with T-Mobile, although if price is a factor when opting for which tablet to purchase then the Springboard is the cheaper of the two offerings coming in at $179 after a 50 buck mail in rebate and on a two-year agreement, while the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus costs $249.99 with the same two-year agreement and 50 buck rebate.

Spec wise the T-Mobile Springboard, made by Huawei, offers a 7-inch HD touch screen, a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 720p video, HDMI, HSPA+ connectivity, microSD expansion, 1.2 GHz dual core processor and Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS.

Again, the T-Mobile Springboard will come out to play packing Android 3.2, but no doubt will see an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich at some point.

Anyway I’ll stop right there and let you check out that hands-on footage with the Android slate, and feel free to let us know if you prefer the T-Mobile Springboard over the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and why, by dropping us a line to our comments area below…enjoy.
