Google Doodle prompts Diego Rivera paintings via Apps

One of the things we enjoy reporting on here at Phones Review, are that of Google Doodle’s which embrace search engine Google’s homepage from time to time. Accompanying the Doodle(s) are that of an Android or iOS app. In the past we’ve spoken about the life of Marie Curie, the search engine’s 13th birthday, St Basil’s Catheral and so on.

Today is no exception, as we recognise Mexican muralist Diego Rivera who became well known for his artwork during the 20th century depicting Mexico’s history, some of which at times did cause controversy. Rivera is remembered on what would have been the 125th anniversary of his birth.

Available as an iOS app for £0.69, the universal app iOS 5.0 compatible is running on devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Features to look forward to include a slide show of paintings which if you choose to do so, can be played with a favourite piece of your music, paintings can be shared amongst your loved ones via FB and Email and so on.

Let’s not forget that Rivera can be remembered through Android’s app that can be accessed here.

Will you be downloading one of the new apps, if so which one?
