Samsung Galaxy Note LTE AT&T bound in 2012

Much like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the UK and Europe gained access to the Android device before our cousins over the pond in the USA, and it’s the same with Sammy’s hybrid smartphone/mini tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note; however the word is the US will gain the Galaxy Note via AT&T at some point next year.

According to and article over on Phone Arena by way of the Pocket Now guys, AT&T will deliver the Samsung SGH-1717, which is a US version of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread Samsung Galaxy Note during CES.

Spec wise the word is the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note will still retain that 5.3-inch 720p touch screen; however, will differ from the international model by sporting 4G LTE connectivity and will pack a Qualcomm 1.5GHz MSM8660 dual core processor due to Samsung’s Exynos chip not being compatible with LTE yet.

There’s no real word on what Android OS the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note will ship with but it is expected it will ship with Gingerbread aboard and receive an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich at a later point.

Other specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note include of course that S Pen stylus, 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel front facing camera and 1080p video.

So will any of our readers over in the good old US of A be hoping to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Note LTE from AT&T once it becomes available?
