Super Bowl Galaxy Note ad slaps iPhone users

Old Samsung still likes slapping iPhone users with their commercials and Samsung took the opportunity to once again poke fun at Apple users in their Super Bowl XLVI advert for the Samsung Galaxy Note that features The Darkness hit “I believe in a Thing Called Love,” and of course we have that Galaxy Note commercial for your viewing consideration below.

The Samsung Mobile USA — Thing Called Love video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Apple Insider and according to the guys the commercial was aired during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLVI and shows a line of iOS faithful gleefully become unfaithful and swap to the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The commercial kicks off in the usual manner with iPhone users waiting in line remarking on how long they have been waiting until one sports a Samsung Galaxy Note user and the Galaxy Note swapping carnage follows.

According to a report by 24/7 Wall St they estimate old Sammy forked out some $10.5 million in air time alone and includes cameos from Justine Hawkins of The Darkness and Brian Urlacher the Chicago Bears standout linebacker.

Word is the USA will gain the Android 2.3 Gingerbread Samsung Galaxy Note on AT&T as of the 19th of this month commanding a price tag $299 when signing up for the usual two-year term.

Anyway I’ll leave it right there as not to spoil your viewing enjoyment and let you head on down to hit that play button…enjoy.
