Diamond Treasure Hunt app perfect for Queens Jubilee

We are only a couple of days away now from the few days of special events that will be celebrating sixty years of Queen Elizabeth II being on the throne, and today we have news of the Diamond Treasure Hunt app perfect for Queens Jubilee.

The application is available as a free download to both Android and iOS users, and is educational while being entertaining. The game is supported by both The Times and The Sunday Times, and players have to try and collect virtual diamonds that have been distributed over the UK, and other nations in the Commonwealth. There is a first prize of a £3,500 sapphire ring that has been provided by 21DIAMONDS that are Europe’s biggest online jewellery retailer.

The game will be played over sixteen days running from May 25th through to June 10th, and the social activity game that is centered on the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, will come to a conclusion with the public announcement of the lucky winner.

Users find the virtual diamonds and unlock them, and then can take part in a nationwide lottery, but the minimum amount of diamonds needed to take part in the lottery is forty out of the sixty available. The more diamonds and points collected will give players a higher chance of winning the grand prize. Each day will see four new diamond quests released with each being made up of two parts.

A player is given clues to guess the location of the diamond before solving additional riddles to unlock the diamonds. If a player is close to the location and finds the diamond with the augmented reality feature on their handset, the player can pick up the virtual diamond straight away and gain extra points.

Clue Points are provided and the amount depends on the difficulty level of each quest, and the player can use these to buy additional clues to solve the riddles. The game is aimed at players globally and will give players the chance to be part of the Queen’s 60th Jubilee Celebrations no matter where they are.
