Samsung Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue begins rollout

When Samsung first unveiled the Galaxy S3 it was showcased along with its new features, and it was also revealed that it would be available in two colour options as well as two storage options, but unfortunately due to a manufacturing defect the Pebble Blue finish was going to be delayed. Today though it seems the Pebble Blue Galaxy S3 has started to rollout to customers.

According to an article on Cnet UK carrier Vodafone has managed to acquire some stock of the Pebble Blue Galaxy S3, and has started to send out the handset to customers that have already pre-ordered the handset. The carrier has confirmed that pre-orders for both the 16GB and 32GB in white are being sent out to customers, along with the 16GB Pebble Blue model.

Vodafone has early exclusivity of the 32GB version but unfortunately at the moment there is no word on its availability, but it did say it was trying to get hold of stock by working with Samsung. For those of you wanting the Pebble Blue version of the Galaxy S3 and didn’t pre-order one you will have a little longer to wait.

The launch of the device has been spoilt by the delay of the handset, and a source has said that fewer than five percent of Galaxy S3 stock arriving in the UK will be of the blue variety, and Samsung has since confirmed that the Pebble Blue model will be delayed by up to three weeks. Early signs show the handset is set to be another winner for Samsung with retailers reporting high demand for the device.

Meanwhile according to the Inquirer staff at the Samsung store in Stratford, London have said that more stock of the Pebble Blue version will be arriving on June 22nd, and that the Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u have sent out some stock to customers that pre-ordered the blue version early. The US is gearing up for the launch of the device but Apple are trying to put a block to this by gaining an injunction to prevent the Galaxy S3 even entering the country, but Samsung has said the launch will go ahead as planned.

Have you managed to get hold of a blue Samsung Galaxy S3?

No, i’m on Orange and occording to their customer services I won’t get the phone until 30th, hardly seems fair considering I pre-ordered it and other companies are dispatching theirs now

Kevib I’m with orange and after numerous calls the woman I spoke with said I’d have it within the week. Annoying isn’t the word as I actually paid to end a contract early to get this phone and preorderedit on the 24 th so will have to see about gettin that back. Hopefully there not just talking rubbish again and I will actually get it

I’ve done the same as you, ended my contract early and I asked them if I’d be able to claim a month back since I won’t get the phone until a month after I ordered it and they said I couldnt claim it back :-s

I have got a blue s3 which I obtained from carphone warehouse. It was delivered 2 days ago after I had complained about my pre ordered phone not turning up on the 30th. When I complained they said that they had no blue phones left but they could send me a white one, which I accepted. What turned up though was a blue one! The phone is absolutely superb. Speed, screen and general usability are as expected. No regrets here… My mate with the new HTC1 X is already green and wishing he’d waited for one.

Im with Orange and am being told that theres still a delay. Theyre not actually telling me when it will be possible to get my hands on mine, while the missus has had her white one delivered a few days ago so Im not ‘appy :(((

Ordered it with Amazon, no luck since they are not able to tell when they will get the blue version. Tried Phones4U, the Samsung brand store and the Carphone warehouse in Stratford and none was able to confirm anything. Happy for everyone that is able to get one in blue. And honestly I am very disappointed with Samsung not being able to deliver the phones as promised.

Received my S3 Pebble Blue two days back. It’s awesome. 🙂 Luving it. But, though the phone features are awesome, the design itself looks a little outdated.

Received mine today, early indications are this is a great phone!, no doubt I’ll post more once I’ve had chance to check it out properly!
