Erin McNaught to market LG Optimus L3, L5 & L7

It appears that when it comes to marketing LG smartphones, LG isn’t adverse to using a little female allure to make sure their smartphone marketing gets over, because the word is LG has brought in former Miss Australia and TV personality Erin McNaught to market a new range of Android smartphones down under.

According to the guys over at Arnnet, the former host of consumer tech show Cybershack, Erin McNaught will be the face of LG down in Australia ‘s campaign to promote the LG Optimus L3. LG Optimus L5 ,Optimus L7 and LG Optimus 2 handsets.

All three Optimus handsets are part of the LG L-Style range, with the LG Optimus L3 being an entry level smartphone with a 3.2-inch ‘floating mass display’, and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, has a front facing camera,and will be available from Telstra at a cost of $99.

The LG Optimus L5 sports a 4-inch HVGA touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, and run Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, along with dual SIM sporting the LG Optimus 2 will be made available to purchase via Boost Mobile along with other retail outlets.

When it comes to the LG Optimus L7, the smartphone sports a 4.3-inch IPS LCD touch screen, 5 megapixel rear facing camera, VGA front facing camera, and runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and commands a price tag of $269 via Optus and Allphones on contract and on pre-paid.

LG officially unveiled the L-Style range of handsets back at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, and the launch of the L-Style range is the firms first major launch in Australia this year.
