Tablet fingerprint problems fade with new 3M protector

If you are anything like me, you get a bit irate if your display is constantly covered in fingerprints, this happened with my smartphone quite a lot, especially when others use it, and don’t bother to give it a wipe over before handing it back. However if you own a tablet there is some relief from this fingerprint problem.

According to an article over on Ubergizmo by way of Gizmodo, 3M have come up with a new tablet screen protector they are calling ‘Natural Fingerprint Fading’, which apparently makes those perky fingerprints fade away after a while and no longer cause your a problem.

However unfortunately those over at 3M who have come up with this new tablet screen protector are not letting on just how those fingerprints fade away, and are keeping all the tech details to themselves, but it could be something to do with chemical coating.

Anyway the ‘Natural fingerprint Fading’ protectors are expected to be compatible with the Android slate the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 along with the new iPad and the Apple iPad 2.

However, currently you cannot purchase the new fingerprint fading protector film for the Android slate as 3M currently have no dealers offering the product; but if you have an iOS slate, you can purchase the new 3M protective film from Amazon at a cost of $24.95.

So there you have it, if you do own an iOS slate will you be snapping up this new ‘Natural Fingerprint Fading’ protector for your iOS tablet?
