Motorola Droid Razr HD vs Samsung Galaxy S3 Decision Time

I’m pretty sure that most know the current must have Android smartphone in the mobile space is the Samsung Galaxy S3; however there is of course the latest Android smartphone from Motorola to take into consideration, the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, which could give the Galaxy S3 a run for its money.

Thus the big question is should you purchase the Samsung Galaxy S3 or opt to wait until the Motorola Droid RAZR HD hits the mobile space?

So with this in mind, Motoring Crunch have compared the specifications of the rumoured Motorola Droid RAZR HD to that of the very popular Samsung Galaxy S3 to see if it is worth waiting for the Motorola handset to arrive.

So starting off, the Galaxy S3 sports physical buttons whilst it is said the Droid RAZR HD relies on the on-screen buttons of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and they say they prefer the RAZR HD because the device is more ‘future proof’ as the Google guys intend devices to be designed in this way after Android 4.0.

The rear of the Galaxy S3 is plastic, whilst the RAZR HD has a Kevlar back plate suggested by leaked images, and thus the Droid RAZR HD is more impressive in terms of durability and looks. When it comes to the battery the SGS3 with its bigger screen has a 2100mAh battery, whilst the smaller screen RAZR HD is said to sport a 3300mAh battery.

Then the guys say you have to take into account Blur and TouchWiz, as they say TouchWiz on the Galaxy S3can be mistaken for running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, whilst Blur is on the Motorola Atrix HD and maintains the blue overtones of ICS along with looking superb in videos.

Lastly it comes down to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S3 as we know offers an 8 megapixel camera, whilst the rumour is the Motorola Droid RAZR HD is said to sport a 13 megapixel snapper. In the end the guys say both devices are a good choice, but it might be worth taking a look at the RAZR HD once it hit.

What would our readers do if they have not got the SGS3 yet, will they opt for the Samsung Galaxy S3 or will they wait for the Motorola Droid Razr HD release?
