Micromax Canvas A100, Superfone Pixel A90 & Funbook Pro prices

We like to keep readers all over the world informed about new devices and today we have some details for readers in India. Two new smartphones and one tablet have just been officially announced by Micromax following leaks and they are the Superfone Pixel A90, Canvas A100 and Funbook Pro respectively. We have details on each of these for you as well as prices so read on for more.

First we’ll start with the Superfone Pixel A90 smartphone, the price of which is Rs. 12,990. Specs and features include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch display with resolution of 800 x 480, 512MB of RAM, 32GB of storage expandable via microSD card, 8-megapixel rear camera with flash plus a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s also a 1600mAh battery, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm ear jack and microUSB. Micromax’s voice assistant AISHA is also pre-loaded on this phone and it all runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a 4.1 Jelly Bean update due later this year.

Next we move on to the Canvas A100 smartphone and this one is priced at Rs. 9,999. Specs and features of this one include a 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-inch touch display with resolution of 480 x 854, 4GB of internal storage with expandable storage to 32GB via microSD, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2000mAh battery. Again this one runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a 4.1 Jelly Bean update due in the next few months and another feature is that the Canvas 100 has dual-SIM with dual standby.

Onto the tablet then and we have the Funbook Pro priced at Rs. 9,999. Some of you may recall the Funbook tablet launched last year and this is an upgraded and larger version of that. It has a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable to 32GB via microSD and a VGA front-facing camera plus a whopping 5600mAh battery. There’s also 3G via USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/, USB 2.0 and an HDMI port and it runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.
