Galaxy S4, Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat update delivery aligned

#

Unlike the likes of Sony and HTC Samsung is not often forthcoming when it comes to release dates for new firmware updates, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 KitKat update delivery is aligned with previous rumours about the operating systems release.

Back in November we saw a schedule for the Android 4.4 update for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 along with some other Samsung flagship handsets. Now French carrier SFR has reaffirmed this release date timeframe by stating that the new firmware will hit the Galaxy S4 and Note 3 between the end of January and the beginning of February.

While actual release dates are not provided the French carrier has a good track record with this type of thing as it also provided accurate information about the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for a number of other Samsung handsets.

The likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 have been in the process of being updated to the last version of Android Jelly Bean, which didn’t exactly go that smoothly. Hopefully with Android 4.4 Samsung will make sure that they iron out any bugs before releasing the software out to end users, with the software already set to arrive for both the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 while the company are also claimed to be considering the firmware for a number of lower spec handsets.

Do you think Samsung will make sure Android 4.4 is released without any bugs?
