HTC One M8 and ZTE Nubia X6 to launch on same day

#

The HTC One M8, variously dubbed the HTC M8 and HTC All New One, is one of the most poorly kept secrets in the mobile world, as plenty of information has already leaked about this HTC One successor. We know that it will be officially unveiled at an event set for March 25, and in a rather strange move it seems the HTC One M8 and ZTE Nubia X6 will be launched on the same day.

There’s been a huge amount of build-up and anticipation for the new HTC One, but we can’t say the same for the Nubia X6, so it seems somewhat bizarre that ZTE has decided to introduce its new Nubia handset on the very same day. If you haven’t yet heard very much about the HTC One M8 then please check out our many articles on this upcoming smartphone here. However, the ZTE Nubia X6 has escaped our attention up until now.

Rumors of Nubia X6 specs include a 6-inch display with Full HD or even QHD resolution and a 13 or 16-megapixel rear camera, while ZTE has already confirmed optical image stabilization as well as wireless charging support. It looks likely that the handset will be compatible with all three Chinese carrier networks, as it’s said to support LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA and GSM.

ZTE has now officially informed that the the ZTE Nubia X6 will be launched on March 25, although we imagine there will be much more attention paid to the new HTC One M8 rather than the ZTE offering. Are you waiting for either of these smartphones?

Nubia’s back schell looks like the first generation iPhones even the button which I’m assuming is the control for silent mode… Aesthetically, I’m not impressed.
