New Moto X+1 specs leak shows a Snapdragon 801

#

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the Moto X+1, and it’s not unfounded considering how popular the Moto X has been. We know it’s going to have more horsepower, and some leaked benchmarks have just given us a good idea of the Moto X+1 specs.

The Moto X+1 specs leak listed by Geekbench shows the Motorola XT1097, and it’s listed as having a 2.46GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 under the hood. This would be a huge upgrade over the previous model which had a 1.7GHz dual-core chip. It also makes sense as most flagships are moving towards the 805’s now.

Other Moto X+1 specs being thrown about include a 5.2-inch FHD display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 12MP/5MP camera combo. A 2900mAh battery is thought to keep the lights on, and you can expect Android KitKat 4.4 straight out of the box. One would assume that MotoMaker is also in the works for the new handset.

We still don’t know when we will see the Moto X+1, but it should be soon considering the previous model dropped in August of last year. IFA is going to be crowded next month as well, so we hope to see the Moto X+1 within the next few weeks although they still have time to send out invites for Berlin.

Are you impressed with the rumored specs on the Moto X+1 or do you fear those upgrades will make the price of the handset a little too high?
