Just when you thought all the big press events were over, Samsung sends a new batch of invites out. This time around, the company is coming to India where it is widely believed they will introduce the Samsung Galaxy Alpha to the masses.
Samsung is holding an event in India on Saturday, September 27 to bring the “Next Generation Stylephone” to the continent. While no device has been named, it’s all but assured that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha India release is right around the corner. Can you think of any other new stylish smartphones from Sammy? The Note Edge and Note 4 certainly fit the bill, but we believe Samsung is talking about the Galaxy Alpha and its metal build. They’ve also used the “next gen” phrase when talking about the device.
If you think you can just bounce over to Flipkart or Snapdeal to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Alpha India release, you may be in for a bit of a surprise. A report released last week says Sammy may go the brick and mortar route and bring its newer handsets to retail stores first, instead of going the online route. This could affect the Galaxy Alpha India price, and it’s not likely to be cheap as it is.
If you’re looking for a “premium” Samsung device and don’t mind a smaller 4.7-inch 720p display, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a fine choice. It launched in four different colors, but it remains to be seen which of those will arrive in India or if they’ll be a special variant of sorts.
