Xolo Opus HD shows up with a 720p display for Rs. 9,499

#

The Xolo Opus Q1000 was a pretty popular device when it was released, and company has just rolled out another smartphone in the line with the Xolo Opus HD. It’s a nice upgrade over the previous model, and still reasonably priced.

If the Xolo Opus HD has a feature that helps it stand out from the mid-range pack, it’s going to be the display. It is not of the FHD variety, but it is a 4.9-inch 720p display which is a big improvement over the Q1000. Unfortunately, the processer is still listed as a 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom chip, so it’s not the speediest device around.

Other Xolo Opus HD specs include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and an 8MP/2MP camera combo. You can kick the storage up a notch with a microSD card, and your connectivity options include the usual suspects like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G and USB 2.0. The dual-SIM handset is powered by a 2,500mAh battery, and runs Android 4.4.2.

The Xolo Opus HD has a better screen, bigger battery, and more storage than the Q1000, and it will only set you back Rs. 9,499 when it hits the streets. The device is listed on Xolo’s official site, but there’s been no word on a release date at this time.
