Many people are familiar with the big-name smartphone manufacturers out there, but some would be surprised at just how many other makers there are. We still sometimes come across a new name and that’s the case today. Kult is a new brand stemming from India, and the Kult 10 4G LTE phone has just been launched. We have all the info you need including its price, specifications, and more.

The Kult 10 price is Rs. 7,999 and it comes in black or white color choices. It’s an exclusive for Snapdeal, and if you’re concerned about after-sales services the company has announced a partnership with Telecare offering servicing at more than 500 centers across India. It weighs 128g and measures 143mm x 70.3mm x 76.mm.

Kult 10 (Ten) specs include a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, Mali-T720 MP2 graphics, and a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. It packs 3GB of RAM, which is pretty impressive for a budget smartphone, and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 128GB. For camera capabilities you have a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, and 1080p video capture, and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens.

This is hybrid dual SIM (micro + nano) meaning that the second slot can be used for microSD, and juice comes from a removable 2350 mAh battery. Connectivity is well covered with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The Kult 10 runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and the company says this will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the future.

Kult founder, Nitesh Gupta, said of the launch,

“10 (Ten) marks the beginning of a series of innovative mobility product launches over the next few quarters. We aim to revolutionise the Indian smartphone market with our affordable, simple yet feature rich smart devices. The devices to follow will focus on addressing the emerging consumer needs in terms of design, features, and specs all brought in at the right price.”
