LG V20 arrives in India with Rs. 54,999 price tag and secondary display

It remains to be seen if LG’s ticker will make a comeback in 2017, but we have it to enjoy for this year at least. Consumers in India can now get in on the action as well. The handset is tipped to debut in the region tomorrow and the LG V20 price in India will not be cheap.

The majority of the smartphones we cover for India fall in the mid-range to entry level class. Whenever a big flagship like the S7 Edge or LG V20 drops, it’s a pretty big deal that generally comes with a large price tag. Things will be no different for the LG V20 release as it is priced at Rs. 54,999 according to Mahesh Telecom who says they will have the handset in stock tomorrow. As for the innards, here’s what you can expect.

In addition to all those horses under the hood, the LG V20 has several other perks. The handset has high-quality audio thanks to a Quad DAC and audio from Bang & Olufson. That secondary ticker is also a nice selling point, especially if you appreciate the ability to stay in the loop. Throw in a Quick Charge 3.0 and you’ve got yourself a solid flagship all around.

As mentioned, the LG V20 is not going to be cheap. The handset is priced at Rs. 54,999 which shakes out to around $800 stateside. That is going to turn some folks off, but you get what you pay for and in this case, you’re getting quite a lot. That said, it all depends on your personal usage as there are better deals with the same horsepower if you can do without a few of the bells & whistles.
