Motorola’s new Android Smartphone the Twist images

Thanks to a report at coated.com via electronista.com for this one, which is sure to please any Motorola fans out there.

It would seem that according to a French website known as Android France Motorola are about to launch a new Android Smartphone handset known as the Motorola Twist.

The device is quite distinguished with it’s square shape which measures 67x67mm and the thickness of 15.8mm. The QWERTY slider phone is said to utilise MotoBlur, Motorola’s custom user interface which will sit nicely on top of Android 2.1 operating system.

If we assume that the leaked image of the Motorola Twist is a genuine one then this will be the very first Android handset to be released by Motorola. Although it is at this stage just a rumour, it is presumed that the handset will come packed with a 2.8 inch screen display that comes with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. It is also rumoured that the Motorola Twist will launch on June 10th. We will keep you updated when we here more.
