The word is a member of slashgear’s Android Community forums has posted that he has received an email from HTC Customer Service, apparently routed from HTC head office which says a part update for the HTC Hero is on its way.
The forum member Vonn posted the entire email which says a partial software update is ready in 10 days while a major release will become available in mid September and incorporate local language support.
He adds that Customer Care couldn’t enlighten him further on exactly what would be included in the update to the HTC Hero. So if said email is legitimate we could soon be seeing a software update hit the HTC Hero.
