Oh happy days for all Motorola Droid X users because at last the wait is over for the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update, you can now download the new OTA update now that it is live.
All you need to do to receive this update for your Droid X is: Settings>About>System Updates.
Engadget reports that this new update contains improvements to visual voicemail with Bluetooth support, there is also a fix to stop data connections dropping whilst on the move between 3G and WiFi coverage and the mobile hotspot app has been refreshed.
Check your Motorola Droid X smartphone now and see if you have the new Android 2.2 aka Froyo update, once you have downloaded be sure to check your Gmail once updated.
