The BlackBerry Storm 3 (9570) now been cancelled by Verizon, and we would love to know if you are disappointed with this decision.
The reason Verizon does not want the BlackBerry Storm 3 is down to the fact it is basically the Storm 2 with not a lot of differences, as CrackBerry would say “It’s too close to the BlackBerry Storm 2 and not enough of an upgrade to make it to the Verizon line up of BlackBerry smartphones”.
Engadget has a list of Verizon news and this was right at the top of their list, however even though Verizon has taken the Storm 3 of its list they are updating the likes of the BlackBerry Tour, Curve 3G and Bold 9650 for known problems.
The Tour will apparently have the 5.0 OS update whereas the Bold and Curve mentioned above will have the BlackBerry 6 if speculations are correct.
